Gumasa Beach

We stayed at Gumasa Beach in Sarangani to relax on our last day of our tour. The beach was like a paradise as the sand was white and powdery, and the water was clean. Indeed, it was a perfect place to get some rest after a few tiring days.

It was more than a 3-hour land travel from Lake Sebu inĀ South CotabatoĀ to reach Gumasa Beach in Sarangani.

Some of our co-joiners had to leave in the afternoon as they needed to catch their flight. Most of the joiners including myself stayed overnight as our flight back to Manila was on the next day at 4:00 PM.

We did not do anything much in this place. I literally recharged by getting enough sleep due to hangover but in the afternoon, I went for quick swim so I can experience the calm sea of Sarangani.

At night, I spent my time drinking alone since I could not fall asleep. It was perfect while watching people playing at the shore under the rain.Ā Ā

General Santos Fish Port

Before going to the airport the next day, the group decided to make a short visit at the fish port in General Santos City.Ā

We did not get inside the port to see some freshly caught tunas. Our group settled to get a quick photo at theĀ Guinness world record largest fish display.Ā

We bought some “pasalubong” as well before heading to the airport. Guess what I bought as “pasalubong”?Ā It’s tuna chicharon! Hahaha!

…and that concludes my SoCCSKSarGen and BARMM tour.Ā

Thank you guys for being nice and see you in my next tour!

Bye GenSan and see you again hopefully, soon!
