Taal is home to several heritage structures similar to Intramuros in Manila dating back from the Spanish colonial period. The town is famous for its old ancestral houses. Aside from that, Taal is also known as the capital of Barong Tagalog and Balisong (Butterfly knife).
The town is a hidden gem. You will be amazed by how much history there is in its old structures.
This is the reason why I always come back to Taal.
The first visit
My first visit was when our boss gave us a treat before she left for a new assignment in China.
I got hooked when I first visited Taal. Maybe because I really love history especially in the Spanish colonial era. The culture and old structures were maintained.
Short but sweet
The second visit was short but sweet because I was able to travel together with my partner and daughter after our vacation in Pico De Loro – Beach and Country Club, Nasugbu, Batangas.
It made me realize to always travel together with my daughter.
